Morley Waste open up a new yard in Leeds

The Morley Waste Group has recently opened up a new yard in Leeds and MMH have supplied them with a new MOROS HS-630-B Shear with baling facility.

It has the usual heavy duty design and it is capable of processing ferrous and structural scrap as well as complete cars. Supplied with a 5.5 metre box and on four out riggers for portability.

Morley Waste Group has wasted no time putting it straight into operation, we are honoured to be their trusted partner for scrap processing equipment.


Bidwell take delivery of a great value MMH Buffalo Baler

We recently delivered an MMH Buffalo Baler to Bidwell Metals in Radstock, Somerset.

The machine is ideal for non-ferrous metals with its 3 ram compression producing a tight bale 300 x 300 x variable mm (Download the full specification).

We have recently introduced the new MMH 'Buffalo' 3 ram baler. Ideal for processing non-ferrous metals, it produces a 300 x 300mm x variable bale and has a semi automatic hopper feed (Download the full specification).

The photos on the left show a 'Buffalo' baler recently supplied to Morley Waste Traders, who have describe it as "a great machine producing tight bales".


MMH increase tyre recycling capacity in the UK and introduce new Tyre-Wire baler

Tyre recycling capacity in the UK and Ireland is set to increase as MMH Recycling Systems Ltd are installing four further tyre recycling plants. When fully operational, these recycling plants will help process some of the 30-40 million scrap tyres produced each year.

In partnership with Eldan Recycling A/S Denmark, MMH offer a simple, reliable and cost effective method of shredding tyres and separating the resulting rubber, steel and fibres. The company provides a complete service to its customers, which can include designing, building and commissioning everything from a single machine to a complete, high automated tyre recycling plant. Tyre recycling equipment from MMH Recycling Systems Ltd is already in use by many successful tyre recyclers; these four further installations will significantly increase tyre recycling capacity in the UK and Ireland.

Moros H-C-250 now working at B. Nebbett & Son Ltd

B. Nebbett & Son Ltd of Mitcham have put their new Moros H-C-250 to work shearing and baling non-ferrous metal.

Capable of processing a wide range of non-ferrous metals, the H-C-250 can shear material to length and also produce bales 400mm x 400mm x variable length. This unit provides 250t shear force, 165t baling force, two wing compression, a three metre long box and a remote control.

MMH Recycling Systems Ltd offer a range of quality equipment for ferrous and non-ferrous metal recycling, as well as for CRT recycling, ELV recycling, tyre recycling, electronic scrap recycling, complex scrap recycling and radiation detection.


Lord & Midgley install a Moros GCS800




Lord & Midgley (based in Hull and part of the Morley Waste Trader group of companies) have recently taken delivery of the new Moros GCS800 Baler.

The GCS800 incorporates the latest shearing design to prevent jamming. Having operated a Moros 1000-ton precompression shear for the last five years, Lord & Midgley decided to add the Moros GCS800 after General Manager Antony Whittaker visited Montreal to see a similar unit in action at American Iron Metal.

Together with their recent installation of an ELV depollution plant, the Lord & Midgley yard is now one of the most modern in the UK.
